The Star Seekers are a rare type in the Gigas, and live for a very long time. They are wise, and are here to provide help and healing for the herd. A group of Seekers is called an Owl Coven.

Star Seekers can be trained to assist you, read the stars to you, and to be ridden for long distances at night.

At age 4, Star Seekers start emitting star smoke from their astrological markings, this smoke can be captured in jars and used as lamps, or can be used to hide the horse from view by covering itself in a field of smokey stars, unfortunately this only works during the night time. In the day, the Seekers defend themselves by puffing the smoke into an enemy, usually aiming for the eyes, thus distracting the enemy long enough to hide under a mountain cave, built by the Ancient Ones.

Most Star Seekers do not have stone faces.

The Star Seeker coats may consist of the following:

Bay - common
Dappled grey - common
Black - extremely rare
White - extremely rare
Dun - rare
Roan red, blue, and bay - common

Any other coat types are forbidden to the Seekers.
